Introduction
Waters Edge lies like a jewel-green ribbon in the shallow hollow between
a tree-lined tributary of the River Kent and a narrow, but equally
lively, brook in Cumbria. Undulating fields spread into the distance. Single file
hard standing pitches with plenty of grass in between are spread
spaciously on either side of a driveway.
Facilities
There's no lack of facilities here, the site also has a very comfortable
lounge bar and a separate pool room and a TV lounge upstairs. There is also an outdoor patio area adjacent to
the bar for those lazy summer afternoons or evenings, where you can have
a drink and relax outside and take in the scenery, and for when the
nights draw in there is a patio heater available. The bar is open
from March - Mid November every Friday and Saturday, for other times please check
with reception. Confirmation of weekly bar timings should be checked prior
to booking as we would not like you to be disappointed. When the bar is
closed their is a
public house approximately 300 yards from the reception area. We have a shop in
the reception area which is
open seven days a week 09:00am - 6.00pm for your convenience.

All these amenities are easily accessible in the attractive and strikingly designed reception building. A pond close by makes a restful spot for a summer picnic, with stone-built barbecue points on its banks.
Were happy to receive dogs on site, but the rules regarding cleanliness and cleaning up after your dog is absolutely paramount. It is compulsory that dogs are to be kept on a lead at all times.
The utilities are situated in a delightful whitewashed building and they are of the highest quality with cleanliness being our main priority. The utilities are heated, roomy and well equipped, with separate showers and private washing cubicles, and a small laundry with a washing machine and drier. There is also an ironing board and iron available upon request. There are plenty of water taps on site, a covered washing up area for those pots and pans, and a flushable chemical disposal point.
